THREE BURNT BODIES FOUND AFTER BLAZE ENGULFS WOODEN HOUSE

Two men and a woman are believed to have been killed in a fire after Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) personnel uncovered their charred bodies in the remains of a burnt wooden house today.

The deceased, identified as Daud, 64, Noraini, 62 and Mohd Joe, 23 were found in a wooden residential unit that was completely destroyed by the afternoon fire.

The authorities were notified of this incident at 3.43pm when the fire was believed to be at its height at the residence in Taman Palma Indah, Batu 10 Jalan Matang here.

Apart from the two deceased, a 36-year-old man was also injured in the blaze.

The injured victim has been sent to Sarawak General Hospital for treatment.
