Super League's, All Dressed Up And Ready To Go

The Crocs launched their 2017 jerseys yesterday but an iconic feature of yesteryears is now missing.
During the unveiling ceremony held at CityOne Plaza yesterday, fans were quick to notice that the state association’s logo is now replaced with a small team banner.

According to Sarawak head coach David Usop and his assistant Pengiran Bala, the new development resulted from the Super League’s new rules and regulations.

The league has disallowed the logo of state FA on team jerseys.

David and Pengiran, who are former state players themselves, spoke on this aspect of the jersey’s evolution.

“I remembered when I first played for Sarawak in 1983, the state football team only had the old state flag on their jerseys and no FA logo.

“I, however, remembered during the last season I played for the state team in 1989, the team was already playing with jerseys with the Sarawak FA logo sewn on it,” said Pengiran.

Sarawak launched the new jersey yesterday while players were introduced to fans.
Meanwhile, Football Association of Sarawak deputy president Abdul Wahab Rahim thanked sponsors for their contribution to Sarawak football.
